Eraquell Palatable pellets are a palatable alternative to paste and liquid wormers in horses. These cereal-based pellets are a safe and effective way to worm hard-to-worm horses. Using a mectin-based ingredient, Ivermectin, these pellets provide broad-spectrum protection against internal equine worms including all three species of bots. Caution: Do not use in foals due to difficulty in accurately measuring a dose.

Directions for use: Dose at 5g per 100kg bodyweight. Tear open the sachet and pour the required amount into a feed bucket and offer to horse. Ensure consumption of the entire dose by becoming bridle before treatment and preventing spillage or dropping of pellets during feeding. Each sachet treats a horse up to 700kg.

Eraquell Palatable Pellets are effective in the treatment and control of common worms and bots including:

  • Large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus equinus and Triodontophorus spp.)
  • Small strongyles including benzimidazole resistant strains (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.)
  • Pinworms (Oxyuris equi)
  • Large roundworms (Ascards)
  • Hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei)
  • Lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi)
  • Intestinal threadworms (Strongyloides westeri)
  • All three species of bots (Gasterophilus spp.)
  • Also controls skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp, and cutaneous larvae (summer sores) by Onchocerca spp.
  • Does not treat tapeworm
